  The property was not as clean as it should have been. The carpets were very dirty, there were spider webs all over and the hot tub was cloudy. The hot tub techician came out, but his only solution was to add clarifier which would have only made it cloudier for 24 hours. By that time we would have been out of the unit. I think he should have drained and refilled it.

  In my rush to select a house I failed to notice that there was only one full bath and that the unit accepted dogs (ie fleas).
  Oh, I checked out on June 21st and it is now July 8th and no deposit returned yet.

  This was the 5th house we rented in Sea Ranch and it certainly rates at the top of the group. Bright and clean, with a decent view of the ocean, and all amenities expected in a rental house. Things to improve include a screen door to the deck (there was none), a few more mugs/ cups for coffee and tea aficionados, and maybe a new set of couch/ love seat as the leather was really worn down. But all in all a great house.

  We had a very nice stay and the house was wonderful as was beach rentals. We stayed longer than our original res. and they were very helpful in accom. us. Our only comment would be about the wood stove. We did not realize it was the main source of heat, which was ok, and would have brought some kindling if we had known. Minor item though. Thank you very much. It was a great house and stay and helpful people.

  Azalea is a great, DOG-friendly house, and our pup loved it here. The master bedroom is huge. There's a great woodstove, and a great hot tub.

  loved my stay---loved the condition of the house considering its a dog friendly trace of dog....the only complaints would be that the stove/oven is dated and does not cook at the right temp making baking impossible.. The hot tub although new and well maintained has a very uncomfortable seating pattern allowing only 2 and still uncomfortable with 2.

  Two issues:(1)the wood-burning stove/fireplace was not cleaned of ashes so that the pre-prepared wood was very difficult to light. The next day it was not possible to start a fire due to the residual ashes. It was stated that the guests were not to clean the fire stove.(2)The cover on the hot tub is very heavy and quite difficult to replace after use. There are devices to allow greater ease of removing and replacing the cover.

  This was our second stay at the Azalea house. We brought our dogs, and we all had a great time. The house is beautiful, with all the amenities, including a hot tub, where you can see the stars at night. Great hikes... very soothing and relaxing..

  Azalea is a lovely, compact, down-to-earth house with lots of wood walls and ceilings, lots of window looking out across meadow to the sea, quiet neighbors, and a very well-equipped kitchen. The Sea Ranch is a very special place, with lots of trails, lots of coves and beaches, lots of opportunities for recreation and quiet.

  Azalea house is cute and cozy. Our kids loved the loft. It was like a private retreat! The house had everything we needed but it is on the small side. We loved the hot tub and used it daily. The only negative is that the property needs a little updating: the leather couches are very worn; some tiles in the bathrooms are cracked; the kitchen counter tiles are cracked a little too. Nice location, very close to great tidepooling!!

  We have been renting this house for many years and keep coming back! It's a great little house that is very comfortable. The location has great beach access within close walking distance. The house is always very clean and tidy and best of all, we get to bring our dog!

  I am very very disappointed that Beach Rentals change my reservation from Sea Pine to Azalea without notifying me even when I emailed them for some questions at the day we departed to Sea Ranch. It was a surprised plan for my girlfriend, and Sea Pine is definitely the one I like - the location, orientation, and view from the attic, and also the style of the house (it's closer to original Sea Ranch architecture style.) However when we got there, we knew we were moved to Azalea, which is along the edge of the high way, boring/ no character outlook, terrible attic and interior setting. I was so disappointed at that time and almost want to leave the next day.
  
  There are few things you can make it better - let me know before I leave so I will either accept it or ask you is there other options I can take a look. Not all of your properties are all the same appealing, and I think it will be nice if you show more respect to people's choice. Propane Odor in Sea Pine? you figure it out at the last minute? For me the reason to move us to another property is so irresponsible. When I email you on that day I departed regarding the internet of Sea Pine, why don't you tell me we are not going to stay in Sea Pine.
  
  I am very unhappy and totally disappointed w/ you service.

  2 things - 1) we were told there would be linenes - I called that day to confirm linens and they said no, so I packed them up and we left - later got a call that linens would be there, but when we got there - the sheets were just on top of the bed and bed was not made - poor communication
  2) I have stayed at various other homes in the Sea Ranch and this is the first time we rented through Beach Rentals - all of the other places have free long distance calling, since we had no cell service and did not bring calling cards I could not notify my family that we had arrived safely and that just was not ok.
