  Lovely spot and everything was great -- we discovered late the night of our arrival that the hot tub didn't heat, which was extremely disappointing. However, a quick phone call in the morning and it was ready for the second evening. It made us very glad we'd decided to stay for 3 nights instead of two.
  
  It could have used a few more kitchen implements, but was generally really well-stocked, comfortable and pleasant!

  The Mermaid House was spectacular! The furnishings were beautiful, the three master bedrooms worked out perfectly and every amenity was easy to use. The location made for wonderful hikes along the trails every morning where we saw deer, bobcat and seals on the beach! We'll be back!

  I was one of 6 women staying at the Mermaid. This was my first experience - others had been to the area several times. We all had a fantastic stay and enjoyed the home very much. The entire experience from the rental process to the final hour was PERFECT. We are planning an annual trip (at least). Thank you so much.

  We took out of state visitors for a long weekend. Everyone was quite pleased with the ambiance,view, and condition of the house. This was our second time renting Mermaid, and we were happy to see that it is still in great condition, well appointed, and well managed. Beach Rental does an efficient, well organized job as the rental agent.

  Our party had a wonderful stay at the Mermaid house. Overall we were very pleased with our stay. The owners put a lot of special touches to the house which was decorated beautifully. The professional kitchen was well stocked and with all the amenities
  it really felt like being at home. The home had beautiful ocean views and a wonderful location close to the trails. There was a large hot tub and fireplaces in many rooms to help warm up during the cool evenings. The only disappointment was that the picture
  windows, floors and outdoor eating areas were very dirty. I would recommend a regular cleaning of the windows, especially the large picture windows that have the beautiful views.

  Nice house with a nice view of the ocean. Only problem was the ants going after the food. The street does not connect to the main Sea Ranch road, which is not a big deal except it was harder to go for bike rides.

  Very clean and beautifully furnished home. Hot tub at night was wonderful. The fact that this house comes with sheets and plenty of towels is a real plus. I would have liked a floor reading lamp that I could have used for night time reading in whatever location I wanted (bed, window seat, etc.) but I got along fine with a flashlight. Will definitely return to this house!!

  Mermaid was a very comfortable stay. The beds are very comfortable for sleeping and the views are fantastic. The Kitchen was wonderful to cook in and the living was great for our family gatherings. I would recommend this to anyone.

  My friends and I have taken this house twice and each time have resolved to return only to it. There is just something about its layout, its furnishings. You feel both cozy and swathed in luxury. Very clean, very comfy and located close enough to town, shore and amenities. Don't change a thing!

  We loved the upscale comfortable, especially the beds! The only thing we would change would be the TV...very small and outdated. It was fine for our short stay. We especially loved the fully equipped kitchen and convenient hot tub off the bedrooms. We will definitely be back!

• The only issue we had was a very very bad case of ants. We lost some cereal boxes and bread to them as they got into the bags and were all over the place. Otherwise, absolutely perfect stay!

  This was probably the nicest house we have rented at Sea Ranch (and we have rented many). The construction and the furnishing were of very high quality, and it is a gorgeous house. The decor is a bit over the top, especially the dining room table, but if you like mermaids, you'll get along just fine :-)

  This house is one of the nicest we have stayed in at Sear Ranch in our 12 years of visiting. The house was luxurious in its appointments (bath, kitchen, etc) and tasteful in its decor. The whole feel was of one soothing wave washing over us. Lovely. We'll definitely be back.

  The Mermaid House with the kitchen, dining and living room on the second floor taking full advantage of the fantastic ocean views is a perfect home. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated with very comfortable King beds. The Viking stove and kitchen L shaped window seating for casual conversation, dining and ocean viewing is perfect. All kitchen accessories are of highest quality with even two sink prep areas to family groups and cook and converse. A perfect home and one of the very best available at Sea Ranch. I've rented 3 times and never been disappointed!
