  Despite being there in the rainy season, the weather smiled on us. Fantastic to watch the waves crash, the cranes feed in the front yard, the hawks wheel overhead.

  Almost everything is perfect at Seale house, and it's unusually clean, fresh and modern. It is sited spectacularly with nothing but sea and wildlife in your lines of sight. The only drawback was that the beds are soft -- too soft for me which made it difficult to sleep well. I think they are in good condition, but the mattresses are just a soft version. Otherwise my stay was divine and the management company was incredibly nice and helpful.

  This house was perfect for my dog and me. Loved the hardwood floors, the clean and attractive decor, comfortable furnishings, and nicely-equipped galley-type kitchen. I will definitely rent this house again! The house is quite private -- "commons" land (ocean meadow) on two sides. There is direct access to the Bluff Trail, but the trail is far enough from the house so that you don't have people walking right in front of your windows.

  We loved everything about staying at this place! Great views and paths right out our door. very comfortable furnishings and we could bring our small pets. We love to cook so for us the kitchen was on the small side but equipped well for us to make some nice meals while there. I would definitely stay there again.

  The new floors and counter tops are great! Love this place! We watched whales from the couch, saw cute little foxes just off the deck at dusk and star gazed from the hot tub after dinner. Thank You Seale Owners and Beach Rentals! Everything was super, as usual!

  We have rented this house annually for close to 10 years. It is cozy and cute with all the amenities you could want. The best part is the hot tub and the deck -- somehow the deck has been constructed in such a way that you are really protected from any wind. And, in the hot tub, you have completely unobstructed views of the coast line ... also, it is a fabulous place from which to star gaze at night. Please note that there are only baseboard heaters, not central heat, so you need to watch small children around them as they can get hot.

  We spent a short time at Seale house October 2009 & loved it; we were allowed to bring our Ginger, a 4 year old, 25# terrier mix, she apparently loved it also as she got to spend lots of time looking out the window at the deer and other native creatures going by. We knew we had to return for a longer visit so this October we packed up the SUV & Ginger headed for the coast and stayed for 10 days. We found out that there was a well kept dog park just a short drive from Seale house, what a treat for Ginger & how grand to meet many residents of the area. We really love that all the windows in the house face the ocean, we can see some waves crashing against the coastline, can hear the ocean at night & also there is a short walk to the path along the coast line, although it wasn’t well trimmed this year. If one absolutely needs to check their e-mail they have wi-fi in the house, a nice TV & DVD, plus a nice sound system to just listen to your favorite music while sipping a glass of wine on the deck staring out at the ocean. Nice size bedrooms & bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen for cooking- utensils, pots & pans, serving dishes plus the important wine glasses! Looking forward to our next stay! Linda, Carol & Ginger

  Had a wonderful time at the Seale house. The location was perfect and the view was spectacular. The hot tub was very clean and worked perfectly. The Internet WiFi was kind of slow at times, and I needed to reboot the router once but otherwise was usable. The only downside were the counters in the kitchen and bathroom which are in need of being replaced - the tiles are quite scratched and warn and the dark grout isn't appealing. But overall, a great place to stay for a couple or a family of 4.

  The property was exceedingly clean, but not literally "spotless." The rug could use a shampooing. But we're very happy and certainly look forward to returning.

  Lovely home and would definitely stay there again!
  Only negative was that while the home was in fact ocean front, the walk to the ocean requires heading east to the trail, around several 'blocks' in order to actually reach the ocean trail. All else was perfection! We liked being close to Gualala for a change as well. Within a very quick drive or nice walk to Del Mar Rec Center as well.
