  Our family of 5 enjoyed are 3 day getaway to Sea Ranch. The house was ideal - clean and comfortable. We loved soaking in the hot tub listening to the sounds of the ocean and star gazing. Being able to walk from the house to the trail was great. We had fun playing on the beaches, collecting shells and watching the seals. We appreciated being able to bring our dog with us as well. We'll be back!

  we switched houses last minute because of construction issues but loved The Anchorage as our replacement. the house was clean and well situated, great master bedroom, well equipped kitchen and very quiet and private. the house isn't fancy in some regards but we loved it anyway and our dog loved laying in the sun on the front steps. lots of ants though but we learned how to deal with them.

  The Northern California coast is gorgeous. Our stay at the Anchorage allowed us to walk out the door and be on the Sea Ranch ocean front walking path in just a few minutes. There are stairs down to Smuggler's Cove and a small rock beach and a seal rookery at the cove to the north. The house was really comfortable, and the open kitchen, dining area and living room allowed us to enjoy hanging out while cooking, eating and even cleaning. We also enjoyed the hottub. Highly recommended.

  Escaped to the Anchorage to enjoy the beauty and the serene wide open space of Sea Ranch and the Ocean. The Anchorage had few neighbors and sprawling open space surrounding the home. The coast trail was less than a block from the front door-great for early morning walks with my puppy. The home was immaculate, tastefully furnished-no pink and blue floral prints-and abundant light-filled windows. The home was situated so that we left the blinds/open day and night and still had our privacy. One of easiest spas that I have ever encountered at a rental! Look forward to a repeat stay!

  This was a wonderful place to stay. It was within walking distance to the coast trail and right up from the Harbor Seal refuge. The weather was stormy but the house was very cozy. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and well equipped (especially the kitchen). We had come up for a relaxing weekend so we really enjoyed that we had all the comforts of home - this place wasn't missing a thing. The hot tub was hot and ready to go when we arrived something we very much appreciated after a long drive. The layout of the house was perfect with a nice large great room with lots of windows and great views of the meadow and partial views of the ocean. You are close enough to the ocean that you can hear the waves crashing. All in all a great stay we will be back!

  My wife and I stayed at Anchorage with a friend of ours and her husband in celebration of our birthdays. It was a perfect get away. The house was cozy, accommodating, and we had great views of the ocean as well as the hills. Deer also frequented the surrounding area around the house each morning and throughout the day. It's a very short walk to the ocean, the perfect place to get away from it all and relax.

  We've been to Sea Ranch many times, but first time at this house. Really enjoyed the big hot tub, views in different directions, and great location close to ocean and bluff trail. Waking up in the master bedroom with 180 degree views from the bluff back to the forest was sublime.

  We love SR and have been regulars for over a decade with an average of 3-5 stays yearly. We knew the house from an earlier visit and we enjoyed the new furniture. Since you ask: amenities that need immediate attention are the pots and pans, they are not safe to cook with and the stove did not work. The carpet in the stairs has large stains, the 1st floor bathroom outdoor screen is stuck. LOVED the treats for our dog upon arrival! We had a great time, thank you.

  Its hard to believe Sea Ranch is just an hour and a half away from our home in Healdsburg. The trails and beaches are the finest on the Sonoma Coast. The Anchorage was perfect for two couples, everything was there for cooking great meals and comfy, large beds. The hot tub was in excellent working order and there was a washer/dryer for refreshing our towels. Our little dog was quite pleased with everything also.

  We enjoyed 3 nights at the Anchorage. The house has a very nice floor plan and partial ocean views. It's across the street from the Ridge Trail and a short walk to Pebble Beach. The kitchen needs updating and the entire house needs an interior upgrade to make it feel more homey. The upstairs master suite is spacious with meadow views and adjacent to a loft area that looks down into the living room. The two bedrooms maintain privacy and are perfect for two couples.

  We've been staying at Sea Ranch for 20+ years and using Beach Rentals, whose staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. This is an older home that worked fine for 2 couples. There is 3rd bed in the loft attached to the master bedroom, so a person and/or couple staying in the loft would need to use the downstairs bathroom or go through the master suite. We like to bring our dog and even though there is only an enclosed deck with a low fence it work out fine. The plus for us was the location. Master bed could use a new mattress, but it was ok for the 3 nights we stayed. The kitchen was well equipped. No major ocean views. We will stay here again.
